A Good Advice

During my Nursing years in Davao. I came across one musical that was presented in theaters. It was called, "Phantom of the Opera." I watched the movie back then and I was impressed with the performance. However, it was at the credits rolling that really nabbed my attention. It was the first time I heard such a sad but definitely a good advice. However, I already applied this advice during my UPLB days, I guess it is much better when it is heard through a song. More after the jump.

Learn to be Lonely

Child of the wilderness
Born into emptiness
Learn to be lonely
Learn to find your way in darkness

Who will be there for you
Comfort and care for you
Learn to be lonely
Learn to be your one companion

Never dreamed that out in the world
There are arms to hold you
You've always known
Your heart was on it's own

So laugh in your loneliness
Child of the wilderness
Learn to be lonely
Learn to love life that is lived alone

Learn to be lonely
Learn to be your one companion
Never dreamed that out in the world
There are arms to hold you
You've always known
Your heart was on it's own

So laugh in your loneliness
Child of the wilderness
Learn to be lonely
Learn how to love life that is lived alone

Haha. I'm not being emo, following this advice really worked for me. It helped me survive my UPLB days and my first few weeks in Davao. Perhaps, I should have never let my guard down and began relying too much. I want to let you know that you can always survive life, as long as you learn to be lonely.
